ally scraps sketch contest **contest closed**

Welcome to the new PageMaps blog. :) It's definitely a work-in-progress and a bit dusty around here, but at least I ditched the shoe and handbag spammers! In time, we'll dress the joint up, but for now, let's kick off the new digs with a great contest.

You could be the lucky winner of a $35 gift certificate to Ally Scraps. To enter this contest, create a layout based on this sketch—any size, any orientation, any way you want to interpret it—using any products you would like. Post a link to your entry in the comments section and you're entered!

The contest starts today and ends at midnight, Sunday, October 24th (MST). This contest is open to everyone, everywhere. :) A big thank you to Dana DiGennaro for sponsoring this contest!

p.s. Sorry peeps, this sketch is the same one I used for the American Crafts contest. In my haste to get out of town this week, I grabbed the wrong file. Oops! Oh well, enjoy it a second time. :)

    Silly question. I was thinking we already did a contest with this sketch, so should we make something new or is this where we submit the previous layouts?? I told you it was a silly question. LOL!

    Oh see...now that's what I get for not reading the comments before I kept blabbing on LOL. It may very well have been the old blog I saw the sketch on not the pagemaps site. I did share the link above. If it can't count for the contest since I posted it weeks ago, that's okay. I'm still happy to share because the sketch was super inspiring....that and I almost lost a limb trying to stitch through all the layers HAHAHA

    LOVE the new blog! I'd love it if you could add the 'Followers' feature.

    I'm also a bit confused about this month's sketch. I also used this sketch last month for your Dear Lizzy prize. Can I resumbit my LO or do I have to create a new one?

    I also had one more question. Would you be interested in creating a gallery? This way we can all share our LOs using your sketches. I love to see different interpretations of your sketches.

    Becky, Great to see you get rid of all those pesky spammers! I'm pleased that you repeated this sketch since I live outside the US I can enter with it this time - now I just need to find the time!
    I have another suggestion for you - since the blog is on blogger now, have you thought about using Inlinkz.com? They have a fanatastic way of linking entries to posts. Certainly for the entrants it's easy to link the appropriate post from their own blog and it's easy for the judges not to have to trawl through all the comments to find the ones with entries. You can also put a time limit on the links so eveyone knows exactly how long they still have left to enter. I think it's free, but I'm not sure about that. Anyway, just my 2 cents worth - hope you don't mind.
