I love the smell of Fall, the changing of the colors, the pumpkins and gourds and the warmth of the weather change!

This is my first Fall here in the US. I am from Australia and so we don't have too many trees that change color. And that is what I a most looking forward to. And I can't wait to celebrate our first Halloween!!

There is nothing better than going for a walk or a drive and seeing Mother Nature at her finest!
The best part..... Fall is the beginning of the wonderful occasions to follow (Thanksgiving and Christmas)where family and friends will gather to celebrate! These are times when some of the best memories are created that allow us to create pages of history for the future!

My favorite thing about autumn is that it awakens my senses! Love taking walks feeling the fresh, cool air and hearing the leaves crunch beneath my feet, smelling lit fireplaces, and tasting yummy Starbucks salted carmel hot chocolate!

ReplyDeleteI love that it's time for Homecoming at my son's school...... It's such a fun event for us every year. My husband takes the day off from work so we can get to the school early since my son is usually on one of the club floats, then there's the football game which our school has been beaten horribly at for the past 3 years but there's huge hope for this year since they've been doing really well so far this year. This will be bittersweet this year since he's a Senior. Autumn is also my very favorite season because it's okay to wear long sleeves and sweaters....... and I love me some homemade soup, yummy ;-)

ReplyDeleteI grew up in Northern Ontario. The vibrant colours, the smell of the woods... they still leave me feeling the wonder of Autumn. You can sit and relive that forever. Today, I got to do my other favourite thing about the season ... I brought a blanket, and sat on my swing in the backyard, listening to my book, watching my dogs play. Yum.
