I lost my best friend of 23 years to breast cancer a little over five years ago. Sometimes it feels like it was yesterday and I still miss her more than I can say. She fought hard, instilling hope in me when I had none, but in the end, God mercifully took her home. She is my Angel of Hope and since her death, I have participated in the Relay for Life every July.This year, my very talented mom and teammate, Susan Herrick, is making these amazing Angels of Hope for her Relay fund-raising.
