Let's get this par-tay started -- week 1! **contest closed**

Did everyone have a fantastic NSD weekend?! We sure were busy at the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog, and are happy to have made so many new friends! There is still time to be eligible for all of the great prizes that were being given away all day and the winners will be announced Friday.

So, we kicked off the PageMaps 6th anniversary with two amazing grand prizes, one for scrappers and one for cardmakers. Did you see the announcement and have you visited the contest page? If not, don't miss it! A brand new Kindle Fire and a $100 gift certificate to A Cherry On Top is up for grabs. Woot!

Today is week 1 of Lynn Ghahary's four-part video series on the new PageMaps/Spellbinders dies. Lynn did such a fantastic job (thank you, Lynn!!) on this how-to video, creating a fully-loaded, dimensional page featuring PB&J by BasicGrey, not to mention fresh and unique ways to use the dies. It is one of those times that, after watching the whole series, I just wanted to drop everything I was doing and scrap! Here is part one and we invite you to stop in every Monday in May to check out the next installment:

The blog prize this week is the entire 6-set collection of the new PageMaps/Spellbinders dies. To enter, post here which set is your favorite and how you might use it. :) We'll draw a random winner from all of the posts this weekend. And be sure to stop by next Monday for part 2 of Lynn's video and another awesome prize!

Thanks and good luck!

Becky

Since, I have a beautiful 4yr. old girl, I'd use it in the much anticipated layouts & cards...but, I'd, also, use it in hair & clothes embellishments, for her. I might even figure out a way, to incorporate it, into my bag designs... WOW-there's nothing like something new, to get the creative ideas flowing! Thanks, for that, and for this opportunity. ~Kristin

  148. Hi Becky and PageMaps! I love your sketches - and Congratulations on 6 years! If I have to choose just 1 of the new PageMaps/Spellbinders die sets, I will choose "tags & flags!" I have 5 children - and 4 of them are boys - so I have lots of sports photos, and lots of birthday celebration photos! My youngest is almost 4, and we seem to celebrate every milestone he reaches with photos and layouts, so the flags will be great for all those milestone titles! I love to use the triangle-shaped flags on a banner or on the lines of a sailboat and put letters on them for part or all of my title! Can't wait to see next Monday's video! Roberta

  156. Hi there, and congratulations on your 6th anniversary! I have always loved your sketches, and I play along with your challenges quite often. Now I'm in love with your dies. All the sets are yummy, but if I had to pick just one it would probably be the labels and tags set. I like the look of tags and bits of labels sticking out from behind other elements, so that's how I would use that set. But just to be clear, I would certainly find a lot of ways to use all these fabulous dies. ;-) Thanks for celebrating your milestone with presents for us!

    blue prom dresses .
Being a groomsman may be considered an honor but one thing to know is that you may be required to give financial obligations.

A groomsman is expected to rent or purchase his own tuxedo for the wedding. He is also expected to spend travel and hotel

accommodations for himself. He will also have to purchase a wedding gift for the vineyard collection prom dresses.Groomsmen

duties may not include assisting brides in choosing their Brooklyn bridal gowns but they are expected to assist wedding

guests in finding their places before the start of
modest prom dress. They are also asked to involve or

take parts in the wedding ceremony.A fun part of being a groomsman is his participation in planning and attending the

Bachelor's Party or Stag Night. They may even be asked to give their contributions to the costs of the party.
