My good friend, Lynn Gharary, has a fresh, fully loaded online class starting at Two Peas and this is your chance to win a spot in the front row!
"Have you ever finished a scrapbook page only to feel that you were missing that “something special”? Perhaps you are new to scrapbooking and looking for ways to take your layouts to the next level. Or you might be an experienced scrapbooker who is feeling the loss of your scrappy mojo, and looking for ways to increase the creative appeal of your pages. Well then this is the workshop for you!
You’ll find this class packed with surefire ways to take your layouts to the next level with a toolkit full of tried and true designer tips and tricks. The techniques outlined in each lesson are straightforward and easy to follow, but really pack a big punch in the design department. You’ll find your layouts have gone from “good” to “great” just by following a few of the design guidelines covered in this class.
Each lesson will focus on one of five main design categories: backgrounds, photos, titles, journaling, and embellishments. With 10 lessons per chapter that’s 50 designer tips & tricks to refer back to when you’re faced with your next “what’s missing?” dilemma. A brand new, never before seen page example by Lynn (as well as some other special guest designers) accompanies each lesson to help get you started. Additionally, an informative PDF and instructional video is provided for each chapter. Each video not only reviews the lessons included in the chapter, but also features the start to finish process of one of the chapter layouts as well.
Whether you’re an experienced scrapbooker or new to the hobby, this workshop has something for everyone. So grab your scissors, paper, and glue and let’s step up your scrapbooking!"

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a great class. I always want to learn more about mix media scrapbooking. Thanks for the chance to win this. :D
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to learn how to think about embellishments before I stick down my papers and photos, especially when I do multi-photo pages.
ReplyDeleteI would really, really LOVE to win this spot since I have lost all interest in scrapbooking a couple years back. The reason is that I find my layouts B-O-R-I-N-G and lack so much...I find that I don't know how to incorporate embellishments creatively and thus, my layouts lose interest in themselves..Boo-Hoo to me!! I have so many layouts that have fouind their way in the "Lost-and-Don't-Disturb" pile because of this. I have so many pictures that are calling my name but It seems that my mojo for scrapbooking is down the drain. I would LOVE to upgrade the creative appeal again. Thanks so much for the chance to win this.

I am a very simple scrapper with a "less is more" philosophy but at times think an embellishment or title placed more strategically on a page might make the entire page pop more. I have a hard time finding the balance between not enough and too much on a page.
ReplyDeleteThis class sounds great! I want to learn how to incorporate stamps more and include them more as part of the process and less as an afterthought.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this class since I always get stuck on a page with placing embellishments and when enough is enough.

ReplyDeleteLynn is one of my favorite scrappers. I love her style and the way she brings a layout together with so much interest and depth yet it remains clean and catches the eye.
