I love the traditional holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. They mean the most to me - but Christmas is my absolute fave holiday for the time spent with family, the joy on children's faces, and just reflecting on the year gone by and another fresh year coming up!

As a kid, the time btw thanksgiving and Christmas, we would make all kids of goodies -- cookies, candy, fudge -- our house always smelled wonderful!!! I could go on and on.. Such a beautiful time of the year to be thankful for what we have in our lives...

Simple breakfast - waffles, link sausages, strawberries and whipped cream and we serve between 30-50 people annually. We'are on 3rd generation of attendeess now.

My favorite thing about the holidays is spending time with family. No school or work commitments, just hanging out and having fun. "It's the most wonderful time of the year" is really true. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a preschool teacher so my favorite thing about the holidays is getting to spend all that extra time with my family!! I REALLY LOVE all the fun holiday traditions that my hubby and I have started with our son :) I just really treasure those everyday moments during the holiday season!!!

ReplyDeleteI cannot just find one favorite thing. I love how things slow down during december with more time to get cozy and enjoy, that people are more friendly and smile more often. I am crazy about the food and love giving/receiving gifts. And oh, the decorations!
My favourite thing about Christmas this year will be that I'll be able to walk with very little pain. My total hip replacement is in 16 more sleeps.
