Cocoa Daisy sketch contest

Hey sketch peeps, the very talented Cocoa Daisy design team created the fantastic page samples for the July PageMaps sketches, and I invite you to check them out here! Cocoa Daisy has generously donated one of their July kits for this sketch contest prize. I had the pleasure of working with this kit and I had so much fun! I was able to create seven cards and still had tons left over.

For your chance to win this terrific kit, create a layout based on the sketch below, in any size, any orientation, any way you want to interpret it and using any products you would like. Post a comment on this thread with a link to your entry. The contest starts today and ends at midnight, Sunday, July 21, 2013 (MST). This contest is open to US residents or anyone with a US mailing address.

Good luck!

Becky

I'd really appreciate comments on my layouts if people would oblige - I'm sort of scrapping in the dark, as it were.

  40. The idea behind this article is excellent, and for me the first item ("Create your own damn content!") is the real gem here: most of the people spend their entire lives only consuming what is created by others, and creating nothing themselves--or never sharing what they create, which is better than not creating at all, though not the best they could do.
