My in-laws are in town for my son's Confirmation, so I won't be able to scrapbook much (our guest room is our craft room!). But - we'll be making memories and taking pics of us at church, of our neighborhood crawfish boil, and of us hanging out with beloved parents/grandparents! Happy NSD a!

ReplyDeleteI'm heading to the green house with my daughter then plan on doing some scrapping in the afternoon, Teachers appreciation on Monday so I have some cards to make and graduation coming up I need to make some cards for that!!

ReplyDeletetomorrow I have to finish up a page that is getting framed...its a memorial page for my daughters best friend, she just lost her older sister! we had a couple really lovely picture of them together, we are going to put it in a shadow box frame! after that I'm not really sure what I'll be in the mood to do! ReplyDeleteI went and met a friend at our Local (family owned) scrapbook store tonight and scrapped for a few hours, as well as picked up some wonderful paper and a few Copic markers, since she offers 20% discount for people who attended the crop. She is closing the store on May 31. That's our last scrapbook store in the area.

ReplyDeleteI have not done any scrapbooking for such a long time now, (almost two years) but for the last few days had planned for today (Sat 2nd May), to be a day for me to sit and dust my desk and start scrapbooking again. I am amazed that I then read your blog and find out that today is NSD!! I am taking that as a good sign that my scrapbooking may now continue on a regular basis!! Happy NSD to everyone!!

ReplyDeleteI won't be doing any scrapping as I won't have time or the energy. I have to go shopping for shoes for a wedding we're going to and have awkward sized feet so it won't be any fun. Also we'll be doing our weekly grocery shop. I'll be exhausted by the time we get home.

ReplyDeleteI spent a late evening scrapping with friends last night at our church. Today I was cleaning up the lounge area of same church after having a great idea to give everyone who uses it more space!! Tomorrow is mine!!!
ReplyDeleteWell as I haven't 'scrapped' in ages and card making has taken over all of my free time, I think I will start a one-woman movement to change the name of National Scrapbook Day to National Play With Paper Day! ;) But first a nice long beach walk! :)

ReplyDeleteNSD was yesterday; packed boxes and helped load the truck so my husband and dogs could go to our house in northern Arizona for the summer. (I'll join them in June.) Now that they're gone May can be National Scrapbooking MONTH for me. :-}

ReplyDeleteOn May 2nd I took part in a 15 Women Only team at the PRETTY MUDDY Event in Sacramento, CA running 5k for Charitable Partners like Susan G Komen, Easter Seals and such. We are running for a co-worker on leave with BCancer. GO Team!!
