Love pumpkin carving! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI make chili, hot tamales, hot dog, and all the fixings that go with those (speghetti, cheese, etc) and pumpkin pie for dessert (first of the season). I have a fire pit in the driveway. the kids (adults) come over, we eat and then sit outside by the fire and pass out our treats. It's a good way for the family to come together and for me to have company during the evening.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition of Halloween is giving out candy to all the kids! I love the look on their face of joy like the best thing they have gotten all year.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Reverse Confetti!!! Favourite Halloween tradition is to chill out with friends and hand out the candy while the Dads take the kiddies around the neighbourhood trick or treating - best of both worlds!

ReplyDeleteWe love coming up with (admittedly elaborate) costumes for our whole family :) My husband and I started the tradition when we were dating, and we've continued almost every year. I'm excited that we are re-starting our grown-up-costume-party tradition again this year.

My family has a fun Halloween tradition we call Taco Bell and Trick or Treat. When my brother and I had young children, he would stop by Taco Bell and get enough to feed the seven of us. We'd eat at my house, then go trick or treating together.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to do it now that the kids are older, but us "old folks" still do it!
