  4. I have never tried converting a pagemaps sketch into a card (I have taken a card sketch and turned it into a layout though). Beautiful card and fabulous giveaway (I have a boy so this collection is perfect). Thank you for the opportunity to win :)

  8. What I love about cardmaking is using inspiration like this to make a unique card for someone geared to them and my feelings about them! Love the Be Different collection with it's bright and bold colors. And the card is just lovely!

  10. What I love about cardmaking is that it's a smaller space, so often faster than doing layouts, and a good way to try new techniques. I also am not worried about preservation of photos/documents, so I am more willing to try things that aren't archivally safe.

When I make it specifically for them, and choose embellishments that I think would add to the initial viewing for them, and then write inside it things that I really mean, its just so heartfelt. A piece of me goes into each card I make.

  66. Have you ever been in a nursing home, when mail is delivered? The nurse hands a home made card to someone without family. You watch with anticipation, because you know it's a card made by you, because they have no family! I make cards just to see the sincere look of joy they bring to other's.
